I wrapped up summer school two weeks ago and officially starting our ‘23-‘24 School Year next week.
⚡️During the program my students designed, tested, and created carnival rides using #legoeducation kits!
⚙️ The kits were amazing and I created this mission/task team design booklet and mission log for any and all STEM activities.
⚙️This resource is designed to keep the students questioning and reflecting in the 5 E’s of STEM: Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, and Evaluate any and all #stemactivities and includes this #craftivity that creates the cutest reflection #bulletinboard

• I also had the honor to present with @booksdelsur on Joy, Engagement, and Lectoescritura! Bringing back the joy into learning by using reading, performance task rubrics, and Poesía 🦋
• We ended our session with a #poetryjam titled “Yo Soy”
• Loved every second, but most importantly watching teachers enJOY reading their poesía at the end!
•Una estrategia para usar también con estudiantes for engagement en la lectoescritura 🫶🏼
