What does your school, school district, or yourself do on the very first day of school (well the “work” days?) Today (really 2 days ago) was our first day back and we analyzed, analyzed, analyzed, test scores. Anyone else do that? It was a long day, but productive, I think. Hopefully our data meeting results and gatherings will be used to drive our instruction, our lessons, activities, and yes some of the “fluff” stuff! Our school grade actually went down this year, and as a school we really need to “step it up” and “change” things around. If something fails, change it up right! I personally like to be reflective in everything I do. This has been me the last two days, planning, planning, and prepping!

Have a Great 2014 School year back! Think, Imagine, Dream, Inspire! XOXOXOXOX!

One thing about me is that I believe in keeping my One thing about me is that I believe in keeping my community informed, especially when changes can directly impact New Mexico families. That’s why I’m partnering with the @nm_hca 💛

Federal changes to Medicaid are coming, and there are a few important dates to know:

🩵 October 1, 2026: Some lawfully present immigrants may be affected by changes to Medicaid eligibility.

📬 December 31, 2026: Most adults will begin having their Medicaid eligibility reviewed every 6 months.

✅ January 1, 2027: New identity and residency checks begin, and some adults ages 19–64 may need to report at least 80 hours each month of qualifying work or volunteer activity. Some people may qualify for exemptions, so be sure to ask HCA what applies to you.

There are things you can do NOW: make sure your mailing address is up to date, watch for your turquoise renewal letter, complete your renewal on time, and ask questions if you’re unsure.

Please don’t wait until these changes begin to get informed. ❤️ Share this with someone who may need it.

Science is the perfect place to let language come Science is the perfect place to let language come alive. 🔬✨

For multilingual learners, hands-on experiences give students something meaningful to talk, read, and write about.

💡 Dual Language Tip: Build the experience first, then build the academic language. Let students observe, discuss, gesture, draw, and use both languages to make sense of the concept before expecting a formal response.

When students understand the science, the language has somewhere to stick. 💛

📚✨ There’s just something magical about a good rea 📚✨ There’s just something magical about a good read aloud!

Especially in third grade. Read alouds are SO important and one of my absolute favorite parts of teaching. ❤️ I love watching my students get completely pulled into a story, make connections, laugh together, predict what’s coming next, and beg me to read “just one more chapter!”

Read alouds build vocabulary, comprehension, curiosity, and a love for reading, but more than that, they create some of the sweetest moments of my classroom community. 💛

Third graders are NEVER too old to be read to, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, this part of teaching!

Are you a read aloud fan in upper grades? 📚

The 2025–2026 school year came full circle for me. The 2025–2026 school year came full circle for me. ❤️

When I first started at my school, I remember being mesmerized by teachers who had been there for 20+ years. I thought to myself, how amazing is that? Well… that was 18 years ago for me.

And this year? 🥺😭😍 I had the absolute privilege of teaching the sweetest, kindest little girl who reminded me so much of her mom… a former student I once knew when I was her 5th-grade student teacher at this exact same school!

Yes, you read that right, my career came full circle this year.

As if that wasn’t celebration enough, I also had the honor of being the kindergarten teacher for this year’s Class of 2026 seniors… and somehow, by God’s perfect timing, I was also their 5th-grade teacher.

Ending this school year on such a high note has filled my heart with gratitude and joy. I truly love my job, and I love what I do.

Congratulations, Class of 2026! 🎓✨ And to my future students… I can’t wait to be your teacher next year.

Love,
Mrs. Bryant 💕 #Tchr888

I’m partnering with @nm_hca to help share important updates about changes to SNAP benefits in New Mexico.

These federal changes may affect some people when they apply for benefits or go through their renewal process. The goal is simply to make sure everyone understands what’s changing and how to stay connected to support.

If you or someone you know receives SNAP benefits, here are a few important reminders:

• Check that your contact information is current
• Open and read all mail from the Health Care Authority
• Ask if you qualify for exceptions or support programs
• Keep track of work or volunteer hours if required

The most important thing is staying informed so you can keep your benefits if you’re still eligible.

Sometimes a simple coffee break turns into somethi Sometimes a simple coffee break turns into something a little more special 🤎

Tried @fizzpresso25 for the first time today, and the smell of their espresso alone had me hooked ✨rich, warm, the kind that makes you pause for a second before that first sip.

I ordered the Teddy Bear Latte and it did not disappoint… smooth, just the right touch of sweetness, and still strong enough to give me that little reset I needed.

But of course, I couldn’t just think about myself.
I picked up a banacha matcha latte and a strawberry matcha quencher and made a little delivery out to my baby girl and my hubby at the farm 💛

Those small moments, coffee in hand, sharing something sweet with the people I love,
that’s what fills my cup in more ways than one.

@fizzpresso25 already my fave!
